I try and get things right 80% of the time. Then there are days when you’ll find me devouring a whole bowl of hummus or maybe a few scoops of ice cream.. all of which imbalances my gut and cause IBS. So here are a few ways in which I heal my gut after a day or few :P of indulgence. 1. FAST.. a prolonged fast of anywhere from 12 to 24 hours is a great way to reset your gut. Add an empty stomach workout session to quicken the gut microbiome resetting. 2. I have a scoop of high-quality collagen + 1/4 spoon of cold-pressed coconut oil in warm water before bed. (this is during the fasted state) 3. Start my day with a liter of water + 1/4th spoon of Himalyan salt and 2 capsules TBCo.
