When I tied the rakhi on my brother's wrist last Raksha Bandhan, I wondered about the significance of the way it's tied. What is the traditional way from a female perspective? Are there specific rituals or customs that should be observed?

You shouldn't be worried at all. There is no particular way or ritual to tie the knot. Rakshabandhan is all about enjoying the bond between you and your sibling.

Hi anonymous ... I am neha , a tarot reader . Yes there are rituals to be followed like lighting a Diya , performing Aarti , apply a tilak and say a small prayer or wishes to god for your brothers well being . But the most important thing is to believe in the ritual and perform it with your heart . So even if u miss out a step Dnt bother coz the entire process is carried with good intention and energies .
